From a very young age, he starts studying guitar Classical with Professor Ivan Mendoza.Later it starts in the Conservatory of Music of Arequipa with Professor Carlos Villalba Ramos. In 2007 he began his studies in Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico under the tutelage of the teachers Leonardo Egorbida and lvdn Rijos. He graduated with honors in said conservatory and received the Medal of the Department of Guitar, distinction awarded to the most outstanding student Since 2010 he receives classes from the master in residence of the Music Conservatory of Puerto Rico. Manuel Barrueco Ha received master classes from Eva Fampas, Carlos Barbosa Lima,Erica Santeck, Oscar Zamora, Gabriel Estarellas, Sergio Assad, Edel Munoz Jose Antonio Lopez He has participated in various presentations and festivals International Organizations in Puerto Rico, Colombia, Chile and Perd. At 2003 Gand an Honorific Mention in the National Contest of Classical Guitar organized by the Alliance Française de Arequipa and in 2004 I won the first prize In 2009 I won the Contest National Guitar of Tacna
In 2012 he was selected by the composer Ernesto Cordero to release and record the CD of the play "La garita del diablo(Secular cantata for bass, narrator, guitar, choir and orchestra of strings) accompanying the Choir Orfeon San Juan Bautista
In 2013 perform a concert tour in different cities from North Carolina, United States, as a soloist and accompanying the Choir of the Interamerican University Metro de Puerto Rico
